The collaboration of Marzia Marzio and Oliver Thedieck started in 2020 through the prestigious Dante society.
The programme Canzone incorporates original composition and transcription for mezzo-soprano and guitar. The pivotal role of the repertoire stems from music of the mediterranean with works by Schipa, Di Capua, Rossini, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Pinsuti and de Falla. Various solo pieces for guitar will complete the programme.
